Breaking: State of Texas sues Sony
Via Security Fix, the number of known lawsuits against Sony BMG has gone to three, thanks to a lawsuit filed by the attorney general of Texas, Greg Abbott. The lawsuit is being filed under Texas’s new anti-spyware law and seeks civil penalties of $100,000 for each violation, plus attorney’s fees and costs (see the full text of the suit). To the best of my knowledge, this is the first lawsuit that’s not a class action suit. Thanks to Greg for the tip.

Good call, Texas! Why? Because BMG are German and Jap! That’s plenty of reason to not only dig deep, deep into their abhorrant practice but also, let’s get them expelled from this country altogether!
It’s like a latent, attack, stemming back from WWII. You can’t trust either of those companies, and especially Germany; you can’t trust those nazi-krauts!

Good for Texas!
And everyone else that’s got a good attorney whom can file quickly in court.
I agree with rfh: BMG are German and Jap! That’s plenty of reason to not only dig deep, deep into their pockets because of their abhorrant practices but also, let’s get them expelled from this country altogether! (Like any other slim).
The bottom line is that this wasn’t an innocent mistake. It was an overtly criminal act designed to limit our choices as Americans…and more concerning, an attempt to, simply stated, bring us harm.
It’s like a latent, attack, stemming back from WWII. You can’t trust either of those companies, and especially Germany; you can’t trust those nazi-krauts!

Um. Just so you know, this blog is about bad business practices, not attacking people based on their nationalities.

$100,000 for each violation, how many protected CDs they sold over here ?
$100,000 X each CD would serves a servere lesson to Sony.

Umm, First4 Internet the company that wrote the XCP software is a british company, so unless you think Britain was on the other side in WWII your post about the national origian of companies is totally pointless.
(and if you do think that Britain was on the otehr side - then your post is again, pointless)
