Sony meets FoxTrot

did you hear how sony was outed for including nasty drm software on certain music cds?

The first comic strip to pick up on the XCP debacle is Bill Amend’s brilliant FoxTrot. I almost did a spit take with my morning cereal when I saw today’s strip in the dead tree edition of the Boston Globe (a frame of which is shown to the right).

FoxTrot has long been the geek highlight of the comics page, even beating Dilbert, with its references to the iMac (aka iFruit), MMPORGs, and online chatting. I am grateful to Mr. Amend for running the strip and bringing the issue to a much wider audience, as well as for using a punchline that I have steadfastly restrained myself from using for the past three weeks.
